आंगनवाड़ी केंद्र भारत सरकार के महिला एवं बाल विकास मंत्रालय के अंतर्गत काम करते हैं। इसका मुख्य उद्देश्य 0-6 वर्ष के बच्चों के पोषण, स्वास्थ्य और शिक्षा में सुधार करना तथा गर्भवती और स्तनपान कराने वाली माताओं को सहायता प्रदान करना है।
